We believe in seeing the re-establishing of true leadership that is apostolic, kingdom focused and Jesus centred, like that founded in the book of Acts.
We see leadership as a full restoration of the full-fold released in Ephesians 4. This is where apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, shepherding and teaching cultures are in full functioning order within God’s kingdom. This is the only way to build each believer into maturity and devotion to Jesus. We see it as linking arms and empowering people….the body of Christ. We see it as kingdom circles where inclusion and empowerment grow. As these circles ebb and flow, relationships deepen, transformation blossoms and renewal bursts forth.
We don’t believe in building church, we believe in building God’s kingdom under Him and then church will grow naturally.
Sanctuary is supported by devoted leaders, elders, prayer and ministry teams. They all believe that devoting their lives to a Psalm 27 v 4 reality is the ultimate act of worship:
“Here’s the one thing I crave from God, the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer”.
Adam and Cath Osborne are recognised church planters with the Association of Baptist Churches NSW/ACT and are the Apostolic Leaders of Sanctuary.
Michael and Esther Cowley are Sanctuary’s Associate Apostolic Leaders.

Sanctuary Australia is a fully affiliated Church with the Baptist Churches NSW/ACT and a registered charity with the Australian charities and not for profit commission.
Sanctuary is a Creating Safe Spaces Christian organisation.

“So Jesus said, “I speak to you timeless truth. The Son is not able to do anything from himself or through my own initiative. I only do the works that I see the Father doing, for the Son does the same works as his Father. Because the Father loves his Son so much, he always reveals to me everything that he is about to do. And you will all be amazed when he shows me even greater works than what you’ve seen so far!”
John 5:19-20, The Passion Translation.
